With a heavy heart, we are cancelling Saturday night's screening of Death on the Nile, due to poor ticket sales.
We apologise for the inconvenience to those who have bought tickets, you will be contacted tomorrow to arrange a refund or a transfer to upcoming films.
We are a small group of volunteers who have been running the Langham Film Nights for the past 11 years, showing well over 100 films. We can count on one hand how many times we have cancelled a screening, as we have always been loathed to do so. Whilst we don't look to make a profit, we do need to break even to make showing films viable. We have to pay a minimum of £100 for the film licence and the cost of purchasing the DVD as well as having posters printed up.
We thank you for your understanding and hope you will continue to support your local cinema project. We hope to see lots of you for our next screening on 16th July, details to follow....
